NSW:Orica can restart amonia plant=3

Orica's Kooragang Island manager, Sean Winstone, has reassured the community that everyone
at the site is committed to a safe start-up.

"We will take as long as is necessary to ensure that the plant is started safely," he said.

"Orica has put in place a number of organisational changes to ensure there is comprehensive
and experienced oversight of safety during the start-up process."

Orica is keeping local residents updated on the progress of the start-up through email
and SMS alerts.
