NSW: World Cancer Day commemorated around Australia

SYDNEY Feb 4 AAP - The first World Cancer Day has been commemorated with events and
religious services around Australia.

An inter-faith service was held in Sydney this afternoon, with Jewish, Christian and
Islamic speakers presenting religious perspectives on cancer.

Ecumenical services were held in Western Australia and Tasmania, and tomorrow will
see a charter-signing event in Queensland.
