NSW: Alleged loan shark held pending hearing
SYDNEY, Jan 19 AAP - The NSW Supreme Court has ordered an accused loan shark be heldin custody pending a hearing of contempt of court allegations against him.
Timothy Aaron O'Keefe will be held in custody pending the hearing set for January 29,a statement by Fair Trading Minister John Aquilina said today.
He was arrested at Port Macquarie yesterday morning by sheriff's officers acting ona warrant issued by the Supreme Court on November 30 last year.
Mr Aquilina said O'Keefe was publicly named by Fair Trading on July 5 last year asan unfair trader offering loans through newspaper advertisements …
