Mobi View, $449

eInstruction's new slate device is designed to act as a "mobile interactive whiteboard," providing interactivity while enabling the teacher to move around the classroom. It is the first such product to include a touchscreen display, which provides one-touch access to files, applications, Web sites and more from a screen at the top of the slate. Used in combination with a computer and projector, Mobi View allows teachers to control content projected on the screen wirelessly, or conduct ongoing assessments using elnstruction's ExamView software and CPS student-response devices, with the results displayed privately on its touchscreen. Up to nine Mobi Views can be used simultaneously in the classroom to allow for student work and collaboration.
